Lines and Notes and Everything in Between is a publication consisting of five elements that explore different aspects of music association. Through conducting interviews, I inspected how humans unknowingly connect through music and utilized book forms to reflect conceptual ideas.

A book designed using film photos taken in Montreal. The book is formatted into three signatures according to the main topics: a short city introduction, the metal staircases’ origins, and the Montreal biking scene. The metal of the staircases and bikes is reflected in the binding of this hand-bound book through the use of metal joints.

Promotional pieces designed for a pop-up 3D printing workshop at Chelsea Market, NYC in March 2022. The event was a collaboration between two non-profit organizations: Generation She and Inertia. The overall piece incorporated the color palettes from each organization, as well as the creation of assets to match the space-themed event.

The project features three concept cover designs for Bloomberg Businessweek. The issue critiques the use of rainbows as performative support for pride by American corporates. I was inspired by Bloomberg’s unconventional covers that reflect the snarky tone of the publication.

This project is a typographic zine of fun facts about Oasis, the British rock and roll band. I aimed to reflect the band’s image and musical tone through the experimental layout and type-setting. The zine is contained in a recycled cassette case sourced from local vintage record stores.
